Scope of our services

Mitiquete acts as a travel agency and, depending on the contracted service, may operate certain components directly or act as an intermediary between the traveler and final providers such as airlines, hotels, local operators, insurers, transport companies, consulates, parks, cruise lines and other third parties involved in the trip.

Quotes, fares and availability

• Every quote is informational until express confirmation, real availability and payment acceptance by the involved providers exist.
• Fares may vary due to taxes, fees, currency changes, fuel, seasonality, allotments, provider policies or operational adjustments.
• Mitiquete does not guarantee fares, seats, hotels, flights, schedules or services that have not been confirmed in writing.
• Images, itineraries and descriptions may be referential and are adjusted to the final confirmed service conditions.

Payments, deposits and issuance

• Deposits are applied to the identified reservation and remain subject to each provider's and season's conditions.
• Issuance of tickets, vouchers, hotel reservations, assistance or services may depend on internal validations, bank confirmation, payment gateways and provider acceptance.
• Amounts paid may include non-refundable components, administrative fees, penalties, taxes or amounts transferred to third parties.
• Travelers must verify names, surnames, documents, dates and services before authorizing payments or issuance.

Traveler documentation and requirements

• The traveler is responsible for valid documents, visas, minor exit permits, vaccines, immigration forms and health requirements demanded by destinations, layovers, airlines and authorities.
• Mitiquete may provide guidance on known requirements, but final admission depends on immigration, health, consular authorities and providers.
• Errors in names, documents, nationality, dates of birth or passenger information may generate correction, reissuance, fare difference costs or loss of service.

Changes, cancellations and no-show

• Changes and cancellations are subject to availability, fare rules, penalties, administrative charges and each provider's policies.
• No-show, late arrival, missed flights, missed connections or missed contracted services may result in total or partial loss of the amount paid.
• Partially used services, services not used by the traveler or services impossible to provide due to traveler-related causes do not generate automatic refunds.
• When value recovery from third parties is possible, Mitiquete will manage the process according to the provider's timelines, documentation and conditions.

Operational changes and force majeure

• Itineraries, schedules, hotels, transport, visits, allowed luggage and other components may change due to providers, airlines, authorities, weather, safety, closures, overbooking, public health or force majeure.
• Mitiquete will manage available alternatives within its intermediary role, without assuming economic obligations not recognized by the responsible provider.
• Travelers must follow schedules, operational instructions, conduct rules and regulations from hotels, airlines, parks, transport companies and authorities.

Responsibility and limitations

• Mitiquete is not responsible for facts attributable to the traveler, third parties, providers, authorities, force majeure, acts of God, weather, immigration, health or safety conditions.
• Responsibility for material execution of third-party services belongs to the provider operating them, without limiting Mitiquete's commercial support management.
• Any claim must be submitted in writing with sufficient evidence to allow review and processing by internal areas or involved providers.

Tourism compliance and responsible conduct

• Mitiquete rejects commercial sexual exploitation of children and adolescents, discrimination, illegal wildlife and flora trafficking and illicit trafficking of cultural goods.
• Travelers must respect local communities, cultural heritage, environmental rules, protected areas and destination coexistence regulations.
• Serious breach of legal, immigration, health, environmental or conduct rules may lead to service cancellation without prejudice to applicable legal consequences.

Regional application: USA and Canada

• For travelers located in the United States or Canada, air services, hotels, insurance, cruises, parks, rentals and local operators may be subject to provider-specific rules and the jurisdiction where the service is performed.
• For flights to, from or within the United States, cancellation or significant schedule-change refund rights may be governed by U.S. Department of Transportation rules and by the merchant of record for the payment.
• Mitiquete does not replace the direct legal responsibility of airlines, hotels, operators, insurers or platforms when they are the material providers of the service.

European Union and Spain

• If the traveler is located in Spain or the European Union, mandatory consumer rules may apply to package travel, linked travel arrangements, pre-contractual information, assistance, cancellation and organizer liability depending on the booking.
• For personal data, Mitiquete will seek to handle requests aligned with GDPR-style rights such as information, access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction and portability when those standards apply.
• The specific travel documents will indicate whether Mitiquete acts as organizer, intermediary or commercial channel for services performed by third-party providers.

Colombia and LATAM

• Mitiquete S.A.S. is incorporated in Colombia, so the commercial relationship is primarily interpreted under applicable Colombian rules on travel agencies, tourism, consumer protection, e-commerce and personal data.
• For travelers in other Latin American countries, these conditions operate as the contractual base, without excluding mandatory consumer protection rules that may apply in the traveler's country.
